The Petronas team recently joined us at Kitchen Showdown for a fun and hands-on Mystery Box Challenge.
The teams were given a selection of ingredients and had to work together to create three dishes: Thai Spring Rolls, Molten Lava Cake and Ondeh Ondeh. With limited time, everyone had to play their part, from preparing the ingredients to cooking and plating the final dishes.
The Thai Spring Rolls were a great way to get things started, with the teams working together to prepare, roll and fry their creations. Things got even more exciting when it was time for dessert. Getting the Molten Lava Cake just right meant making sure the centre stayed beautifully gooey, while the Onde Onde required a little patience and teamwork.
There was plenty of discussion, laughter and a bit of friendly competition throughout the challenge. More importantly, everyone got involved and enjoyed the experience together.
By the end of the session, the Petronas team had prepared a delicious spread and, most importantly, spent some quality time working and having fun together outside the usual office environment.
It was a great afternoon of cooking, teamwork and good fun!
